Who We Are
Founded in 2020, Chronic Disease Mate for Africa (CDMA) is a youth-led public health organization committed to reducing the health and economic burden of chronic and non-communicable diseases across Africa.
We work with communities, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, advocates, and development partners to improve prevention, awareness, early detection, access to care, and policy responses for chronic diseases and other long-term health conditions affecting African populations.
Through community outreach, health education, research, advocacy, capacity building, and strategic partnerships, CDMA seeks to empower individuals and communities while contributing to stronger and more equitable health systems.
